      Homer Williams
Chair; Williams & Dame Development
Homer's career in real estate development has spanned more than thirty years. As chairman of WDD, Mr. Williams is a driving force behind the Pearl District, South Waterfront and downtown Los Angeles development projects. Homer has been instrumental in forging partnerships, such as the South Waterfront Central District partnership between North Macadam Investors, Oregon Health and Science University and the City of Portland, which has led to the largest urban development in Oregon’s history. Homer sits on the boards of the River District Steering Committee and the Marylhurst College Advisory Board. He was born in Walla Walla, WA, and raised in La Grande and Portland, OR.

      Michael Jordan
Secretary; METRO
Selected after an exhaustive national search, local civic leader and Clackamas County native Michael Jordan became Metro’s first chief operating officer in March 2003. As Metro’s COO, he is responsible for a workforce of 1,900 and the integrated management of public services and economic development assets that benefit the Portland-tri-county region through Metro’s regional governance. Public assets in Jordan’s portfolio include solid waste and recycling systems, transportation and growth planning processes, cultural and recreation facilities and an urban greenspace and park system. Prior to his arrival at Metro, Jordan was serving as a Clackamas County commissioner, a seat to which he was appointed and subsequently elected. Jordan honed his public administration expertise as the city administrator for Canby, where for more than 10 years he was responsible for managing all aspects of city operations. Before entering public service, Jordan worked for 11 years at Pacific Power and Light managing retail water distribution systems and construction project management for electricity transmission delivery systems across three states.

      Rick Gustafson
Treasurer; Shiels Obletz Johnsen
Mr. Gustafson graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Yale University and a Masters Degree in Urban Economics from Wayne State University. From 1969 to 1973, Mr. Gustafson was a Research Economist for General Motors Corporation in Warren, Michigan. For the following two years he served as a Senior Planner for Tri-Met and was responsible for the operational planning of the Transit Mall. Mr. Gustafson entered the political arena in 1975 when he was elected to the Oregon House of Representatives and served on the Ways and Means Committee through two legislative sessions. In 1978, he was elected to be the first Executive Officer for Metro (Portland regional government) and served two terms until 1987. Mr. Gustafson joined SOJ in 1987 and was made a principal in 1994. He currently serves as the Director of Operations for the Portland Streetcar project.

Richard C. Alexander
Viking Industries
Richard C. ("Dick") Alexander is a well respected business leader and entrepreneur with a deep commitment to the quality of life in Oregon. At age 29, and with modest initial capital, Alexander founded Viking Industries, Inc., which has become one of the west coast's leading manufacturers of windows and doors. Alexander later founded Viking International, Inc., an international exporter of specialty foods. He has served as the Chairman of the Board of Associated Oregon Industries and on the boards of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Capital Pacific Bank, and the Portland Rose Festival Association. Alexander's long-standing commitment to education in Oregon is well known. He has served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Marylhurst University, the President of the Board of Trustees of the Oregon Episcopal School, and on the board of the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. As a board member of the Children's Institute, Dick has made a commitment to focusing resources where they can make the greatest difference: early childhood. He is the chair of Ready for School, a statewide effort being led by the Children's Institute and Innovation Partnership to raise awareness of the need for early childhood education in Oregon and to increase investments.

      Sho Dozono
Azumano Travel
Sho Dozono has been in the travel industry for over 30 years and since 1987 has served as president and chief executive officer of Azumano Travel in Portland, Oregon. Dozono has grown the agency from a small company with only a handful of employees into a multi-branch, multi-faceted enterprise whose combined staff now numbers 250 and whose revenues exceed $217 million in annual sales. A strong advocate of diversity and equal opportunity, Dozono is a respected business and civic leader throughout the state, devoting much of his time in service to the community. He is a past commissioner of the Port of Portland (1989-93), having received a gubernatorial appointment. He was also Chair Emeritus of the Portland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (2002) and the first minority to chair the Chamber in its 110-year history.  He is a past president (1991-92) of the Portland Oregon Visitors Association (POVA) as well as past chair of the Japan America Society of Oregon (1993-95). In his capacity as board member of the Portland Schools Foundation, Dozono spearheaded the mobilization of 30,000 citizens in 1996 to participate in the March for our Schools, which succeeded in raising more than $11 million to save local teaching positions.

      Carol Dillin
Carol PGE
Carol leads PGE's Public Policy, overseeing the company's Government Affairs, Corporate Communications, Community Affairs and Environmental Policy & Special Attention Customers departments. She also addresses energy policy issues on behalf of PGE customers, and actively engages city, state and federal leaders on important public policy issues. She serves on the boards of the Portland Business Alliance, Oregon Business Association, the American Heart Association and Oregon Mentors and previously served as president of SOLV board of directors in 2004. In 2002, she was awarded the William Marsh Lifetime Achievement Award for public relations by the Public Relations Society of America - Columbia-Willamette Chapter.

      Jill Eiland
Carol Intel
As the Oregon-Washington Corporate Affairs Manager for Intel Corporation, Jill Eiland is leading the media relations, government relations, community relations, and education ooutreach team for Intel's largest site and Oregon's largest employer. Recently named Education Citizen of the Year by the Oregon Education Association, Most Admired High Technology Company by the Portland Business Journal, and recipient of the 2006 United Way Campaign Chair Award, Intel has focused on being a good neighbor for the past 30 years.


      
Walter Grebe
Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt
Walt Grebe has concentrated his legal career in business and corporate law, having represented companies of all sizes in matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, securities, estate planning and corporate governance, poison pills, retirement planning, employment contracts, covenants, not to compete and confidentiality agreements. He joined Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt in 1988 when his firm, Grebe, Gross, Peek, Osborne & Dagle, P.C., joined our Portland office. He was elected President and CEO of the firm in July 1994 and became Chairman Emeritus in October 2001. Mr. Grebe is a lifelong resident of Portland.

      Will Hardy
Highland United Church of Christ
Rev. Dr. Hardy is a native of Portland, Oregon and has been the Senior Pastor of Highland United Church of Christ/UCC since March of 1996. To compliment his Pastoral duties, in December of 2000, he formed a non-profit called Highland Haven, which serves distressed communities in North/Northeast Portland with nine different social service programs. Before choosing ministry as a full-time vocation, Dr. Hardy served five years in the United States Navy as an aviation electronic technician. Dr. Hardy received over 20 years of training through the Church of God in Christ Institutional Training Program and is an ordained minister with triple standing in the Church of God in Christ, United Church of Christ and Full Gospel Pentecostal Church. He works with community service entities and government agencies for Africa, African American AIDS, HIV/health issues and gentrified North/Northeast Portland African American citizens. Dr. Hardy has received numerous awards for his varied contributions, including the 2004 NAACP Man of the Year Award and the 2004 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Portland based World Arts Foundation.

      Bart Ricketts

Bart Ricketts holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in civil engineering from
Santa Clara University. In his 20 years in the construction industry, Bart’s
project experience includes preconstruction services, project management and
engineering in a variety of markets including K-12 educational facilities,
higher-education, laboratories & high-tech cleanrooms, multi-family
residential, commercial offices and public projects. He is an expert on the
Oregon CM/GC Public Contracting process and is the Sustainability & LEED
Certification expert for Lease Crutcher Lewis.  Bart resides in the Lake
Oswego with wife Wendy, and children, Olivia and George.
